Diallyl bisphenol A, abbreviated as DBA, CAS 1745-89-7. It is light yellow viscous liquid, soluble in most organic solvents and soluble in alkaline solutions.
DBA is mainly used in the modification of bismaleimide resin (Bismaleimide abbreviated as BMI), which can greatly reduce the application cost of BMI resin by improving the operability and processability of BMI resin. DBA also can improve the toughness, heat resistance and mouldability of BMI resin. And DBA can be used as epoxy resin active toughening agent.

It has a high melting point and boiling point and can withstand higher temperatures. It is an important organic synthesis intermediate, mainly used as crosslinking agent for epoxy resin.
