1,6-Hexanediol diglycidyl ether YLD-6008 (CAS NO. 16096-31-4) is colorless to light yellow transparent liquid. The molecule contains two epoxy groups to participate in the curing reaction, and the curing reaction forms a chain and network structure, so the mechanical properties of the resin after curing are good.
YLD-6008 is a bifunctional epoxy resin reactive diluent, mixed with epoxy resin, which can greatly reduce the viscosity of the system, and reduce shrinkage and costs by adding more filler with it. YLD-6008 is also a water-soluble reactive diluent with good wetting ability. Epoxy resin is added to improve the penetration during casting. It has good wetting ability during lamination and bonding. YLD-6008 is also a toughening reactive diluent, which can be used to improve the flexibility of products.
